BMC-Vifit Pro Triathlon Team powered by Uplace presents new partners and sponsors for 2019

2019: Selle Italia, FSA and Vision new partners for the international triathlon Team;

The BMC-Vifit Pro Triathlon Team powered by Uplace is proud to announce three new partners to support the team in 2019 and beyond. Selle Italia, FSA and Vision will become dedicated partners of the BMC-Vifit team. CEO Bob De Wolf is extremely pleased: "The BMC-Vifit Sport Pro Triathlon Team p/b Uplace is built on key values of professionalism and high performance. The team’s philosophy and vision is to provide maximal professional support for our athletes with the ultimate goal to achieve top results.  Obviously such can only be achieved through the commitment and contributions of our sponsors and partners. With the addition of Selle Italia, FSA and Vision as partners of the team we are thrilled to take the BMC-Vifit Pro Triathlon Team from strength to strength.”

“Passion for the sport and a competitive spirit are just a few of the values that the company shares with the team, as they prepare for a two-year period marked by combined excellence”, adds Mirko Porta, Racing manager at Selle Italia. “With over 120 years of history and once again the market leader in bicycle saddles, Selle Italia adds its prestige to an ambitious, successful team which aims to establish itself as the best long-distance triathlon team and, ultimately, to win Ironman Hawaii. With its foresight and ambitious sporting goals, Selle Italia has decided to invest more in the world of triathlons and long-distance racing, becoming an official team sponsor with the Iron Evo triathlon saddle. This saddle, conceived and designed exclusively for triathletes, is a blend of technology and innovation which allows the greatest performance to be achieved from two wheels, delivering incredible seat comfort without affecting the aerodynamics of the position.

“We are proud to be on board and supporting such a high-level pro team like the BMC-Vifit Pro Triathlon Team”, said Maurizio Bellin, General Manager of FULL SPEED AHEAD and VISION Europe. “We have always believed in the importance of sponsorships developing together with sponsored athletes, in addition to the technical quality that we want to provide them. For this reason, in the 2019 racing season we will provide to the BMC-Vifit triathletes our top-of-the-line Powerbox carbon crankset, a fundamental tool that will help them to track their data directly during trainings and to be more competitive on the race day. Nowadays the power meter crank is where everything starts for a triathlete”.

Strong network of sponsors and partners

CEO Bob De Wolf also emphasizes the importance of the continued support and continuation of long term partnerships with all other team partners in 2019: “We are incredibly pleased to be able to continue working with such a strong network of partners and sponsors. Bike manufacturer BMC Switzerland and Nutrition brand Vifit serve as the team’s main sponsors. The tremendous commitment of BMC Switzerland and Vifit, allows us to continue growing and developing as a team. Additional support is provided by our excellent partners: Real estate company Uplace; Polar heart rate monitors, sport watches, GPS devices and bike computers; uvex helmets and eyewear; Craft race, training, casual clothing, compression products and socks; Orca wetsuits, swim wear and goggles; BMW Le Couter; Tacx bike trainers and drink bottles; DT Swiss wheels;  Selle Italia saddles; Vittoria tubular and tires; Vision extensions, cradles and pads; FSA power meter, crank & components; Sands Beach Active for warm weather training; OGIO travel and sport bags; Optimize Tri Boutique; Best Swim Centre; Sportoase pool and gym facilities and TrainingPeaks training data management system. With the commitment from BMC, Vifit and all our other partners we are ready for a very ambitious season.
